Most Cocktails Made in an Hour: United States Bartenders' Guild sets world record
NEW YORK, NY, USA -- The United States Bartenders' Guild and sponsor 42BELOW Vodka brought together an eight man team of cocktail wizards who made 1,541 cocktails - minimum of three ingredients - in one hour at ACE Hotel in New York - setting the new world record for the Most Cocktails Made in an Hour by a team.

The Guinness world record for the Most cocktails made in one hour (by a person) was 937 and were achieved by Matthias Knorr (Germany).
Guinness World Records also recognized the most people shaking cocktails simultaneously world record; it was achieved by 970 participants in an event organised by HUBO in Brussels, Belgium.
Guinness World records also says that the most cocktails commercially available is 1,244 and they are listed in the menu of Pench's Cocktail Bar in Varna (Bulgaria).
The United States Bartenders' Guild and 42BELOW Vodka built their history making "cocktail dream team" that included: finalists from the 2011 Cocktail World Cup Aaron Butler of Russell House Tavern in Boston, Jason Hughes of the Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas.
Also, brought in for the challenge was 2010 Team USA Cocktail World Cup team members Sean Hoard of Teardrop in Portland, Ore., Todd Thrasher of PX in Washington, D.C. and Mark Stoddard of Bitter Bar in Denver, Colo.
