  Biggest selling album of 2010: Lady Gaga's 'The Fame Monster' sets world record

 LONDON, UK--According to the United World Chart, Lady Gaga's 'The Fame Monster', a repackaged version of her earlier disc 'The Fame', sold 5.8 million copies across the globe - setting the new world record for the biggest selling album of 2010

  'The Fame Monster', a repackaged version of her earlier disc 'The Fame', sold 5.8 million copies across the globe, according to the United World Chart, compiled by website mediatraffic.de.

  According to the Guinness World Records 2011, Lady Gaga scored two world records for 2010 as the Most Searched Female on Google and Most Weeks on the UK Chart in Any Year for her impressive 154 consecutive weeks.

  When she heard the news, Gaga tweeted, writing: "'The Fame Monster' was named the best-selling album of 2010! I'm so excited for the future, believe plus work hard, you will achieve your dreams (sic)."

  Eminem, who's 'Recovery' sold 5.7 million copies, came second while Canadian teen singing sensation Justin Bieber landed the third spot with 5.6 million sales of his 'My World' albums.

  The Guinness world record for The Oldest person to release a new album was set by Australian artist, Smoky Dawson (b. 19 March 1913), who recorded a new album of original songs, 'Homestead Of My Dreams', at the age of 92 years 156 days when the album was released.

  Guinness World Records also recognized The youngest professional drummer: Tiger Onitsuka (Japan), who was 9 years 289 days old when his first album 'Tiger' was released.
