Organisers were caught napping by a low turn out. But Andrew Waters, of Newcastle firm Palatine Beds, said: "We had to improvise. The first two rows had to pick their mattresses up and run around and join the end."
The event, organised by Palantine Beds, was held at a warehouse in Newcastle.
