Hot stunts and world record attempts at French Car Show

The Flux Hot Stunts Arena is one of the great new attractions at the Adrian Flux French Car Show, held this year at Rockingham on Sunday 15th July.

     [June 6]Rockingham, UK --Hot stunts at the Adrian Flux French Car Show at Rockingham on Sunday 15th July, 2007, will keep visitors slack-jawed - like the Dave Coates motorcycle stunt team, who'll be performing stoppies, wheelies, skating and backward riding (at 152 mph). Plus, Dave will try to break the world record for donuts (on a bike) in 60 seconds - the current record is 21 (lucky he's not trying to eat them).

     Meanwhile Europe's biggest monster truck, Big Pete, will be strutting its stuff - and then its 'brother' monster truck, the Grim Reaper, will attempt to do a ramp jump over a super car. There'll also be death defying stunts, such as superman flying seat grabs and full 360º back flips, from the Broke FMX motor cross team.


    But the hottest star of the Flux stunt arena is likely to be Backdraft, a 17-tonne fire truck that pulls instant wheelies 20+ feet high, pivots and throws fire bursts into the air.

   "The guys have pulled out all the stops to get a cracking programme together," says Gerry Bucke of sponsors Adrian Flux Insurance. "These cars, bikes and trucks are going to be awesome. I hope the organisers aren't expecting us to insure them… especially the super car that Grim Reaper is jumping."

    The Adrian Flux French Car Show spotlights the UK’s best French cars, including performance and modified motors, attracting thousands of people and over 50 clubs. Last year there were over 2,500 cars on display, alongside trade stalls and entertainment.

    Moving to Rockingham Motor Speedway means organisers are gearing up for their biggest, best-ever show this year, with more visitors, more cars and even more action.

    The Flux Hotstunt Live Action Arena kicks off its first two-hour programme, featuring all the stunt teams, at 11.00. The programmes will be repeated at 13.00 and 15.00.
