Largest Resistance Band Class: Sheraton New York set world record
NEW YORK, NY, USA--Over 270 people filled the streets in front of the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers to take part in a 30-minute band strength training resistance class in midtown Manhattan - setting the new world record for the Largest Resistance Band Class.

Participants worked up a sweat during the 30- minute work out, led by Core Performance founder Mark Verstegen, which consisted of a total-body circuit-training workout.
Featuring a new state-of-the-art fitness center with life fitness equipment, on-demand fitness workouts, and time efficient training programs, guests can grab a great workout in less than 30 minutes.
The Guinness world record for the most people exercising to a fitness video is 598 and was achieved by Deloitte's Financial Services (UK) at the Excel International Convention Centre in London, UK
Guinness World Records also recognized the fastest time to complete the physical fitness challenge, which is 18 hr 25 min 40 sec, achieved by Robin Simpson (UK) at the Fitness First gym in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK.
