Most chainsaw juggling catches: Ian Stewart sets world record (Video)

NORTH RIVER, NS, Canada -- Ian Stewart of North River made 94 catches while juggling three chain saws at the Hants County Exhibition - setting the new world record for the Most chainsaw juggling catches, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

The previous Guinness world record for the
most chainsaw juggling catches is 88 and was achieved by Aaron Gregg (Canada) on the set of El Show Olímpico, in Mexico City, Mexico.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most juggling plate catches using one hand is 16 and was achieved by Francisco Tebar (Spain), on the set of 'Guinness World Records', in Madrid, Spain.

Among his list of entertainment talents is the fact that Stewart juggles chain saws – three to be precise – actual chain saws with razor sharp teeth and with the motors running.

Stewart, of North River, who also bills himself as a master hypnotist, estimates he has been juggling chainsaws for about 15 years.

"In practice I've probably done about 110 (catches) a couple of times."

"I love juggling chainsaws. I would probably rather juggle chainsaws than do other objects. I know that's a little weird, but I really enjoy the noise, I like the action of it and I like that they're so big when I'm throwing them."
