Most Strikes Thrown In A Minute: Chad McLean breaks Guinness world record (VIDEO)
Gainesville, FL, USA -- Chad McLean, also known as the king of "quick bowling", used every lane at AMF Alley Katz bowling alley in Gainesville, Fla., to hit 9 strikes in 15 attempts within 60 seconds - setting the new world record for the Most strikes Thrown in a minute,

The Guinness world record for the MOst strikes thrown in a minute was set in 2011 by Colin Champion, who threw eight in 60 seconds.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest bowling alley, set by the Inazawa Grand Bowl bowling centre (Japan); it consists of 116 lanes, is 198.39 meters (650.88 ft) in length.
Mr. McLean recorded nine strikes in one minute to break the Guinness world record, previously held by Colin Champion, who threw eight in 60 seconds, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
"This is my thing," McLean told The Gainesville Sun. "I will do something to leave my mark on the sport.
According to his Storm Bowling bio, McLean, 28, operates an APEX Pro Shop in Gainesville and has thrown 10 perfect games in his career.
Back in 2010, he embraced his position as "the odd ball out" and stated that breaking records is instrumental to his legacy.
