Most flags flown on a Bridge-world record
set by BridgeClimb Sydney
SYDNEY, Australia -- BridgeClimb
Sydney, has celebrated its ten-year anniversary with
137 climbers each carrying a flag onto the arch of the bridge-setting
the world record for the Most flags flown on a Bridge. Photo: Nicola Futeran, a 10 year old from Bondi, carried
the Australian flag to the top of the Bridge alongside 136
other flag bearers; many of whom were BridgeClimb's team members
who welcome Climbers to BridgeClimb 363 days of the year.

Sydney is the company that offers people the opportunity
to climb to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge. The 137 flags
represented the nationalities of all the people that have
scaled the landmark in the past decade.

10 years welcomed celebrities such as Robert De Niro, Nicole
Kidman, Will Smith and Kylie Minogue in addition to Climbers
from 137 different countries and territories.
Since October 1998, the Sydney Harbour Bridge,
which is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Australia,
has been ascended by more than 2.2 million people from 137
