Largest ship made of styrofoam: Red Sea Mall breaks Guinness world record
JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia -- The styrofoam ship, built by a group of professional artists for the competition "Find the Treasure" held during the Jeddah Festival, which is displayed at the Red Sea Mall on the northern outskirts of Jeddah, is 13.6 meters high, 18.4 meters wide and 4.5 meters deep, setting the new world record for the Largest largest ship made of styrofoam,

The Guinness world record for the largest tunic measures 33.90 m (111 ft 2 in) long and 18.50 m (60 ft 8 in) wide and was created by Lomar (Saudi Arabia) at an event organised by Phenomenal, at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest ship of any kind, set by the oil tanker Jahre Viking (formerly the Happy Giant and Seawise Giant), at 564,763 tonnes (1,245 billion lb) deadweight and 260,815 grt. The tanker is 458.45 m (1,504 ft) long overall, has a beam of 68.8 m (226 ft) and a draught of 24.61 m (80 ft 9 in).

It broke the Guinness world record which was 13 meters high, two meters deep and 8.5 meters wide, Red Sea Mall officials said.
"The world's largest ship made of styrofoam is considered one of the most successful events in the Middle East and North Africa in 2012," the company said in a statement.
"We hold in our hearts a great loyalty to our country that makes us always adopt such (innovative) project. It is not a surprise since Red Sea Mall always has committed to support art and innovation," said Alawi.
He said the Red Sea Mall has launched many artistic projects that highlighted the works of a number of creative Saudis who "benefited from the mall's popularity (to) reach a large number of audience."
