The previous Guinness world record for the fastest time to type the alphabet on an iPad was achieved by Charlie Joseph McDonnell (UK) for First News TV in a time of 6.31 seconds in London, UK.
Guinness World Records also recognized the Fastest-selling consumer electronics device: the Apple's iPad.
I am very happy," Eduard said in comments broadcast by Georgian television after the finger-busting workout, explaining that he had spent months getting ready for the unusual event.
"Our whole family has been nervous. I am a very proud mummy today," said President Saakashvili's Dutch wife, Sandra Roelofs, who watched her son's triumph.
Fox says Saakashvili "spent months getting ready" for those few seconds.
The young record holder plans to go to Chine to learn Chinese language after this success.
