Wien, Austria -- 'The eleMMent', from Austrian firm Marchi Mobiles, has been designed specifically to ensure people are fascinated when they see it; five-star motorhome is 12 metres long and can expand to 30 square metres of interior space when stationary; is actually the latest in luxury motorhomes - costing $2.9 million - and setting the world record for the Most expensive motorhome, according to World Records Academy (www.worldrecordsacademy.org).

The Guinness world record for the most expensive production car was the Mercedes Benz CLK/LM, which cost US$1,547,620 (£957,100) when launched in 1997.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the greatest confirmed price paid: $17,275,000 million (?12,000,000) for the vintage 1963 Ferrari 250 GT, sold to Chris Evans (UK).

Marchi Mobile says the 510bhp engine will give the 20 tonne eleMMent palazzo a top speed of 93mph while being capable of a relatively high 13mpg, its efficiency for such a heavy vehicle partly down to its aerodynamic design.
The vehicle also boosts a pop-up rooftop patio complete with sun shade and safety railings.

The inside is as awe-inspiring as the outside, with sleek modern designs and a 40-inch flat screen TV in the master bedroom.
Also included is an en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, driver's cab with bunk bed and a spacious lounge.

The eleMMent can also have heated flooring, satellite TV, mobile internet, a rainfall shower and video surveillance if required.
Marchi Mobile claim that the unique design will reduce fuel consumption by 20 per cent.
And in an attempt to persuade customers to pay the £1.8million price tag, the company claim that the eleMMent "will create admiration among others".
